Welcome chef! Ben Murphy’s appointment as Head Chef.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Head, Ben Murphy! Joining us from The Woodford restaurant, Ben was named Chef to Watch 2016 by The Good Food Guide and took home the Breakthrough Chef of the Year gong at the Food & Travel Awards.

Ben has created brand new, modern and exciting menus for Launceston Place, using simple seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are extremely attractive to the eye, distinct and bold in flavour. Dishes include Carrot, lovage and goat’s yoghurt;  Scallops with yuzu,fennel and coriander, as well as Charred blood orange, herbs and cointreau.

It’s an exciting new chapter for Launceston Place, and to toast his arrival we’re buying a glass of Champagne for every guest! Yes, from today until 12th February, you can enjoy a glass of fizz when dining with us – please quote ‘Celebratory Champagne’ when you book.
