On Wednesday 14th March, Launceston Place will invite a line-up of some of London’s favourite chefs for a one-off carnivorous feast to celebrate National Butchers Week. Teaming up with Britain’s best artisanal butchers, The Ginger Pig, Head Chef Ben Murphy will welcome; Margot Henderson (Rochelle Canteen), Jackson Boxer (Brunswick House, The Chess Club), Anna Hansen (Modern Pantry), Selin Kiazim (Oklava) and Mirek Dawid (Blacklock) into his kitchen to each cook an unusual cut of rare breed meat.
“With National Butchers Week on the horizon, I thought it was time to shine the spotlight back on British meat. I’m delighted to welcome a group of Chefs who I admire and who share my respect for provenance and ingredients, as well as The fantastic Ginger Pig who have helped forge Britain’s sustainable farming movement” says Ben Murphy.
The one-off, six-course dinner on the 14th March sees Ben Murphy continue to champion British meat since joining the Launceston Place team as Head Chef last year. Teaming up with The Ginger Pig, who pride themselves on producing the best quality meat from well-loved and cared-for animals, each chef will showcase less familiar cuts of meat, from pigs cheeks to lamb’s neck end chops from the butcher’s newly launched, national Chop Shop.
The six-course dinner with a glass of champagne is £60 per head, with an optional wine pairing for £30, payable upon booking via launcestonplace@danddlondon.com
There will be two sittings on 14th March from 6 – 8pm and 8:30 – 10pm
