We are excited to announce that Ben Murphy has been promoted from head chef to chef-patron.

Ben has been helm of the kitchen since January 2017 and since then has revolutionised the menus at Launceston Place.

Our latest menu sees a VERY different way of ordering. The new concept is called The Phyllis menu, (named after Ben’s Grandmother) and is designed in the style of a Draughts/Checkers board, which was Ben’s favourite game to play with her when he was a child.

Rules of play are simple. You simply remove all the pieces to reveal the menu dishes and course options. Then using the pieces, cover the board, leaving revealed only what you would like Ben and the team to organize in to your menu!
