We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Royal Warrant Perfumer from HRH The Prince of Wales – Penhaligon’s Perfumers this June.
Having carefully selected two fragrances from Penhaligon’s aptly named King’s Road perfumery, Chef Patron Ben Murphy and Head Sommelier Marcello have infused the notes, flavours, and aromas of the scents into a dessert and cocktail offering, bringing centuries of British heritage to Ben’s innovative menu.
Ben has curated a unique pudding to complement Penhaligon’s Quercus. Named after the national tree of Britain, with a Latin etymology meaning oak, the fragrance has a warm citrus and woody scent accompanied by the floral notes of jasmine and lily of the valley
Alongside Ben’s pudding will be Marcello’s Perpetual Slumber cocktail, inspired by Penhaligon’s Endymio, named after the Greek God. Marcello’s cocktail reflects the timelessness and indulgence of the parfum. Garnished with a lemon twist and an earl grey tea leaf, this refreshing cocktail is perfect to enjoy throughout the summer.
Chef Patron Ben Murphy says it is an honour to collaborate with a British institution like Penhaligon’s for such a momentous occasion. It has been such a pleasure working with the team to choose the perfect scents that have inspired our dessert and cocktail!’
The Dessert and cocktail will be available from Wednesday June 1st.
